Postira is a well-known tourist destination on the northern coast of the central Dalmatian island of Brac that is connected to the mainland by daily ferry lines from Split and Makarska. Due to its favorable location, Postira developed into a harbor and fishing settlement. Guests will be served homegrown food and excellent wines produced in the fertile surrounding fields. Postira was first mentioned in the 14th century. You can find accommodation in hotels and private apartments, ideal for a quiet family holiday. Sports enthusiasts have boccia, basketball and tennis courts at their disposal, while water sports equipment can be rented in the place itself. Bol is an attractive summer resort situated on the south shore of the island of Brac, one of the sunniest Adriatic islands. This elongated sandbank consisting of millions tiny grains of sand immerses into the blue open sea with its length of 634 metres! Sutivan lies 7 km west of the Supetar ferry port that is connected to Split by daily ferry lines. Sutivan goes back to the 15th century and, apart from sacral monuments, has several interesting Renaissance houses and Baroque summer residences. There are mostly pebble beaches in Sutivan, while there is a sandy beach in the Livka bay nearby. Evenings in Sutivan are great for pleasant walks in the park with its palm and pine trees. You can try homegrown food and wines of Brac in numerous restaurants and konobas (local restaurants). If you are looking for an active holiday, we recommend Cape of Gomilica, perfect for underwater fishing. The bay of Sutivan is a safe port for smaller boats, while it is recommended to anchor larger boats outside of the port.


Supetar is situated on the north side of the island of Brac, one of the most attractive Middle Dalmatian islands. The ferry line connects it with the town of Split. Supetar was built in the cove of St Peter by which it obtained its name. It is considered today as one of the main tourist centres. You can enjoy its cultural monuments, various sports and recreation programmes.
