Aalborg City Cup
International football tournament Aalborg Denmark
If you are after an international competition, it has to be the Ascension Day weekend at the international football tournament in Aalborg. Few tournaments offer so much international involvement, even in the first round, as the Aalborg City Cup. With such a balanced mix of nationalities, the organisers naturally have a great opportunity to push their tournament to the top of the league. But to go from zero to 200 teams within a few years, they must have something special to offer. Examples? A beautiful sports park with eighteen immaculate pitches directly adjacent to the attractive centre of Aalborg - often referred to as ‘Little Paris of the North’ because of its many attractions. In short, the international football tournament in Aalborg is the place to be around Ascension Day!
