As smooth as a billiard table: FC Moosburg’s pitches. So, at this international football tournament in Munich in Germany - the Isar Cup, the balls roll smoothly.

The host is the proud owner of a beautiful sports park. In addition, the club has built up an excellent reputation as the organizer of the Isar Cup. Many participants are pleased to come back because in Moosburg, just north of Munich, hospitality has a capital ‘H’. And if you still want to take a look around Munich, then on your way there also stop by the Allianz Arena.  


JFG Moosburg & FC Moosburg

The Isar Cup is organised by JFG Team Moosburg Land and FC Moosburg. These clubs have organises the Isar Cup from 2007. This year they are again ahead full of enthusiasm to organise a successful five-star tournament. 


The sports park on the border of the town of Moosburg has 6 grass pitches, a clubhouse with terrace and a main field with stand with place for 500 spectators. The participants can also make use of a skating track, a beach volleyball field, two street soccer courts and a heated outdoor swimming pool.

The program of the international tournament:

Friday: Arrival Moosburg and Check-in

Free evening programme, option: visit to Moosburg, Munich or the Olympia Park

Saturday: Tournament: official opening and group matches

Team leaders’ reception and party at the tournament site

Sunday: Tournament: classification matches, finals and prize-giving ceremony

Players party and Farewell Night

Monday: Departure

Participating countries: Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, France, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands.


As well as participation at the tournament, Euro-Sportring also arranges the accommodation for the participants. Participants can usually choose between school accommodation, group accommodation (youth accommodation and bungalows) and hotels. The accommodation we offer has been selected with care and must comply to a number of conditions, such as: are they within easy reach of the sports park, do they provide value for money, are they suitable for sports groups, are they safe and is the management flexible.  

Touristic information


Moosburg is a small provincial town with 17,000 residents, 48 kilometres to the north-east of Munich. Moosburg is a typically Bavarian town. At the historical centre hospitality is written in large letters. 


Munich is the bustling capital of Bavaria has something to suit all tastes. It is easily accessible by underground. You will find there traditional Bavarian architecture, many shops in the partially car-free centre. When weather permits, the long wooden tables here are soon filled with people who come to eat sausages and drink beer. The entertainment quarter Schwabing offers a pleasant atmosphere, but also the nightlife of the Münchener Freiheit is well-known not only in Munich but also much further afield. 


Olympiapark was built for the 1972 Olympic Games, former home of the Bayern München football club. The stadium, hall, swimming bath and tennis park are open to everyone. There are daily guided tours, and large events and concerts are regularly organised in the park. Of the many restaurants the restaurant at the top of the Olympiaturm is the most special. You will have to climb your way up, for the restaurant is 290 metres above ground level!
