Touristic information

Hollabrunn is the capital of the western wine district Hollabrunn in Lower Austria. The town lies at the northern end of the largest wine producing area in Austria. However, Hollabrunn has primarily been a university city from 1865.

With 1.7 million inhabitants, the city of Vienna is the largest city of Austria. Especially in the inner city, much of its rich history is still visible, for example the Imperial Palace, once seat of emperors and now the headquarters of the Federal President. The ring road with its neoclassical buildings such as the State Opera, Burgtheater and Parliament. The Museum District is also a magnet for tourists. Along the Danube River, which flows right through the town, there is place for walking, cycling or just lazing around.
