Under the motto “Europe is BFC Dynamo’s guest”, participants in this international youth football tournament can look forward to a warm welcome at the well-known Sportforum Berlin Hohenschönhausen sports park in Berlin. Competitors who want to see more of the city during their stay can travel to the centre by public transport in fifteen minutes. Here they can start their exploration of the multi-faceted city of Berlin. Pay a visit to the impressive remains of the Berlin Wall or take a look at the Olympic Stadium. This international youth football tournament in this world city has something for everyone! 


BFC Dynamo Berlin

The Dynamo cup is organised by BFC Dynamo Berlin (BFC Dynamo). This club was founded in 1954 and celebrated its biggest successes between 1979 and 1988 when it won 10 consecutive titles in the DDR-Oberliga. BFC Dynamo has 19 teams of which 15 are youth teams.


The matches are played at the well-known Sportforum Berlin Hohenschönhausen: Europe’s biggest sports- and training centre also the home base of no less than 30 clubs! BFC Dynamo is one of these clubs. There are pitches (one stadium, three grass pitches and two artificial grass pitches), sports halls, ice rink, cycling track and athletics facilities. The entire complex exudes sport: it is also Germany’s largest Olympic training centre. More than 100 German Olympic, world and European champions so far prepared themselves for their achievements at Sportforum Berlin Hohenschönhausen.

Friday: Arrival in Berlin at the Sportforum tournament complex, check-in

Team leader reception

Open house for all participants in the well-known sports park Sportforum Berlin Hohenschönhausen, the organiser’s clubhouse

Saturday: Opening ceremony

Tournament: group matches

Free to choose evening programme, option: visit Berlin

Sunday: Tournament - qualifying matches, finals and prize-giving ceremony

Farewell party at the clubhouse or spare time to visit Berlin

Monday: Departure

Participating countries: Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, Poland.

Touristic information


Since the fall of the wall in 1989, Berlin is steadily becoming one of the hippest cities in Europe . With its many historical things to see, memorials of a recent past and the Sony Centre, Berlin is the place to be! Niketown can be found in the Tauentzienstrasse: this shop is 3500 m² and is filled with the latest sports fashion! There are many places to go out to in Berlin. There are numerous terraces and many cafes and clubs. 

The Olympia Stadium

The Olympia Stadium in Berlin was built by order of Adolf Hitler in the 1930s for the Olympic Games that were held in Berlin in 1936. The stadium was renovated for the World Cup in 1974 and was also partially covered. The final of the Football World Cup was held here in 2006, for which the stadium was given another revamp. Professional club Hertha BSC plays its home games at Olympia Stadium.
