The Berlin Cup is organised by FC Concordia Wilhelmsruh 1895 e.V. FC Concordia Wilhelmsruh is a relatively small club that was founded in 1895 by one of the founding members of the Deutscher Fußball Bund (DFB). The club began under the name Concordia Berlin. FC Concordia Wilhelmsruh currently plays in the German competition with 19 teams. 


The Berlin Cup is played at the Nordendarena, the home base of FC Concordia Wilhelmsruh 1895 e.V. This small and charming sports park offers four pitches (two grass, one artificial and one small pitch), an atmospheric club house, changing rooms and showers. In other words: all ingredients for a successful junior football tournament!

Thursday; Arrival in Berlin and check-in

Open house at the sports park

Friday; Tournament: group matches

Opening ceremony and team leader meeting in the clubhouse

Free to choose evening programme, option: visit Berlin

Saturday; Tournament: group matches, qualifying matches, finals and prize-giving ceremony

Free to choose evening programme, option: visit Berlin or the Olympia stadium

Sunday; Departure

Touristic information


Since the fall of the wall in 1989, Berlin is steadily becoming one of the hippest cities in Europe . With its many historical things to see, memorials of a recent past and the Sony Centre, Berlin is the place to be! Niketown can be found in the Tauentzienstrasse: this shop is 3500 m² and is filled with the latest sports fashion! There are many places to go out to in Berlin. There are numerous terraces and many cafes and clubs. 

The Olympia Stadium

The Olympia Stadium in Berlin was built by order of Adolf Hitler in the 1930s for the Olympic Games that were held in Berlin in 1936. The stadium was renovated for the World Cup in 1974 and was also partially covered. The final of the Football World Cup was held here in 2006, for which the stadium was given another revamp. Professional club Hertha BSC plays its home games at Olympia Stadium.
