The international youth football tournament on the sunny side of the city, such as locals say, is according to Danish standard: perfectly organized with top facilities! 


FC Solsiden

FC Solsiden is the name of the cooperation (club) between 3 clubs in Aalborg - Lindholm IF/Norresundby B and NUBI. 


All 3 clubs together have 18 full size pitches available and a few 7-a-side pitches. All locations have a clubhouse next to the main pitch available and sufficient changing rooms.

The program of the international tournament:

Thursday; Arrival, check-in

Teamleaders meeting

Friday; Tournament; group matches

Teamleader reception and festive evening for participants

Saturday; Qualification matches and finals followed by the prize-giving ceremony

Sunday; Departure


As well as participation at the international youth football tournament, Euro-Sportring also arranges the accommodation for the participants. Participants can usually choose between school accommodation, group accommodation (youth accommodation and bungalows) and hotels. The accommodation we offer has been selected with care and must comply to a number of conditions, such as: are they within easy reach of the sports park, do they provide value for money, are they suitable for sports groups, are they safe and is the management flexible.

It is known as the 'Little Paris of the North' due to its bustling night-life, countless restaurants and pubs. Aalborg is located on the Lim Fjord providing it with a harbour and a Maritime Museum. Various boat trips are possible on the fjord and there is a floating restaurant.

Aalborg Zoo

Near the centre of Aalborg you will find Aalborg Zoo. Here you will be face to face with more than 1,600 animals from all over the world! From polar bears, orang-utans and lions, past giraffes, antelopes and even zebras. Watch the sea lions being fed or feed the goats in the children’s zoo.
